My name is Daniel, but you can call me Danny Riggs. I’m a rapper, singer, drummer and songwriter from Nottingham. My genres are rap, rock, metal and more. I’ve always been involved in the music world, from singing in my primary school choir to playing the drums in the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. But in 2021, I decided to officially begin my music career after joining the Circle of Light project, and I have been on a streak of gigs and music-making ever since. I’ve performed at popular venues such as Rough Trade and the Bodega. I helped organise and performed at 2022's Hockley Hustle, organised a gig with Elmz XIX, as well as my own festival with COL called Sound of Nottingham. I've also made multiple songs with Notts legend Scorzayzee, as well as many other talented artists and producers. My biggest inspirations are Post Malone, Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, as well as Justin Bieber and Owl City. My dream goals are to make it big in the world of music, perform massive shows and festivals, and make songs with all my favourite artists. I’m excited to see where my career takes me, and hope you will all stay along for the ride.
